– Iliriana Koleka –
I honour you, oh father!
For all those who did not love you
Those who insulted you today, yesterday and the day before
Those who will attack you tomorrow
As a friend of Enver, a communist and atheist
I honour you, oh father!
For all those who denied their country
The land where they spent their childhood and youth
Those who exchanged it for money and fame
Changed their name, surname and nationality
I honour you, oh father!
For all those who led after your generation
And devoured the liver of this country
For those who left behind the dead of Vlora
And sold the sea to Greece
I honour you, oh father!
For all the tyrants of the mountains, plains and sea
For all the new Albanian tyrants
For those who wish harm to Albania
They blew up Gërdec and destroyed the army
I honour you, oh father!
But I am not alone in honouring you today
There are all those who love Albania
Strong and on their ethnic lands
Not made of paper and in foreign hands.
