In the Bank of Albania, Corruption Appears to Have Built Its “Nest”

– Gjon Bruçi –

As has become known, employees of the Bank of Albania, with licenses issued by the Bank’s Director, have long been providing “quick loans” with 100 per cent interest rates. Through banking manoeuvres, dozens of citizens have fallen into the trap of these “quick loans,” and their properties (homes) have been confiscated. When the Bank’s Director, Sejko, was questioned in one of the parliamentary committees, he justified himself by saying he had no information.

Question: But regarding the multimillion salary he receives as a Bank Director, does Mr. Sejko have information about that?!

Even further: Regarding the “game” with the euro, which harmed the interests of the citizens to adjust those of the Prime Minister, did you have information about that, or are you acting like the Prime Minister, who takes no responsibility for those who “steal plums” behind his back?!
