39 Years After the Death of Enver Hoxha, We Reaffirm His Legacy
Enver Hoxha, Albanian Marxist-Leninist leader and founder of the People’s Socialist Republic of Albania, died on April 11, 1985. He defended Marxism-Leninism, fought against fascism, imperialism, and various forms of revisionism, and contributed to the international Marxist-Leninist movement. His death marked Albania’s turn to capitalism.
